Exploring My Incredible India – Chapter 4

wp-1479450147945.jpgAs per the last day’s journey experience, I planned to start a bit late today, around 9 o’clock in the morning. So that I could get enough time to pack my things, have breakfast, and then leave. Many thanks to Nitin for showing me around and his hospitality. Taking good memories with me, see you again 🙂

Another morning, started my journey to Vijayawada. This time not a city but a village named Mylavaram. Need not to mention this part of the country has very good road condition to ride. Perfect cruising and the surrounding view.

Searching for a place to eat on the highway sometimes a bit difficult. It’s not like you won’t find but it’s more like which one you should go for. this time I found a couple of restaurants to have lunch but they are not opened yet for lunch. I found it very weird and check my watch, the hour hand about to touch 12. I guess they don’t take lunch so early. Oh, Dear! I’m so hungry 🙁 … At last, I found one which can serve the food but I have to wait at least 15 minutes. I decided to wait as I was in badly need of food. The place called Prattipadu in Andhra Pradesh. It was too early to have lunch as per the locals. Luckily the manager guy speaks English. Except him, none of them speaks not even Hindi ?

When the time came and I have been served with the chicken meal, I was surprised and delighted, WOW! It was too heavy for a single person. But I managed to finish it. The manager somehow managed to notice the “www.ladybiker.in” website link sticker at my bike’s rear-wheel guard. He asked me about the ride and request me to tag his name as well in my Facebook update. He was really excited about showing his little restaurant pic in my travel blog. I felt good too ?.

Then I started again for my destination. In my journey, the Google GPS map helped me a lot, but sometimes it made me confused as well. Going round and round in a circle ?. It shouldn’t have taken that much of time as it took, but things happened like this when you travel alone and with uncertainty.

When it was about 4 o’clock in the afternoon and I couldn’t reach my destination, hopelessly I called Praveen. Who is Praveen? Well, he is the guy from Couch Surfing and my host in Mylavaram. After explaining to him where the hell I am in the strange world, he laughed and asked me to wait there. In a few minutes, he came and took me to his place. So nice of you Praveen. Without you, I would have been spent the night under a tree and listening to music by a bunch of mosquitoes and insects?

His house was just behind the Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering. His family is very much welcoming and big heart people. I was served by a really delicious fish meal on arriving. A few minutes rest, then we went for an outing in local places, met with his one friend, and visited his uncle’s place. They served a good evening tea as well. The night ended with delicious dinner and peaceful sleep.

The next day morning after having our lunch, we went to visit Bhabani Island. Few glimpses from the places.

We returned back late after having so much fun in there. Back home need to pack my things again for tomorrow’s ride. Another journey to another new place.
