Exploring My Incredible India – Chapter 5

Time for another new Ride. This time from Mylavaram to Bangalore. The hub of IT Industries.

This would be my longest journey in a day so far. So, I decided to start a bit early than usual. But as I said before, the plan never works for me.

Generally, ride day starts with packing my stuff on my bike, today was also the same. But the irritating part was after spending more than half an hour on loading the luggage, took goodbye snaps and almost ready to start the engine I realized the key inside my short’s pocket ? and that also deep inside on of the bag?. Again, open all the ropes and took out the keys…and repeat the process. That is very much ME.

Anyway, ultimately I abled to start around 7:00 am in the morning from Maylavaram.

Till Tirupati, it was Chennai Highway… Then took a right turn towards Bangalore, Karnataka. Though reaching till that turn from Vijayawada in the month of June was a horrible experience in terms of weather temperature. Feel like riding over the Furness ?… I couldn’t get a tree shade that I could take a halt or break for a few minutes.

Slowly, dehydration caught me and I felt sleepy, without knowing I dozed or can say almost dozed off 3 times… Yes, this time I was desperate to take a halt and with the blessing of God found a temple on the highway side. It was on the other side of a four-lane highway, but on my side, people had made a tree Shad to sit. Without any second thought, I pulled over my bike. Took my mobile and called my friend Raima… Asked her to talk anything but talk… She was wondering about my statement, what on the earth happened to me??? I simply explain the situation and the dozed off story, now just imagine what would have been her reaction…?

Anyway, whatever she did, it worked for me ?… And I was wide awake after the conversation.

After having some snacks again I started from there…

Around 4 o’clock don’t know the place name exactly… The weather becomes a bit pleasant. Later I came to know that from this place the hill station of Karnataka starts.

One thing riders must agree, that as early morning ride allows you to see the sunrise from the horizon, the same way it allows you to see the colorful sky of dusk as well. Of course, a tea break to enjoy the sunset.

No, I was far enough from my destination. Still, I took the break. It was worthy enough. Though my journey plan on day basis sunrise to sunset, I knew today would be late as the set destination was longer than the other days.

It was past 10 o’clock when I crossed the last highway toll of Bangalore. It took another an hour to reach my friend’s place in Bangalore (metro city traffic ?). After reaching… What do you think? Eat and sleep. Rest of the story, next chapter ?.
